摘要
Use of the SAR image intensity for estimation of waves and wind over the sea surface is rather well-established. Interpretation of surface currents estimated from SAR data is, as reported in literature, a much more complex issue. In this work we summarize a methodology exploited for the analysis of sea surface currents estimated via the Doppler Centroid Anomaly. The analysis is based on the integration of sea surface current data derived from the wind information by means of the wind-Doppler model proposed in [1]. Experiments acquired by the Envisat system over the coastal area corresponding to an acquisition frame located in South of Italy around Naples.
