Similar structures of Pc3-5 geomagnetic pulsations and MHD waves in the solar wind as a reflection of the nonstationary character of these processes

The structure of Pc3, Pc4, and Pc5 geomagnetic pulsations has been studied. It has been found that its structure is similar to the structure of different pulsations and MHD waves in the solar wind. It has been shown that all of these wave processes represent a series of independent wave packets with an envelope close to the hyperbolic secant function and with individual amplitude, width, and phase. It has been assumed that such a structure is a typical property of hydromagnetic waves in the near-Earth plasma, indicating that the nonstationary character of these wave processes is similar.
