摘要
Psychologic factors that have demonstrated relevance to scleroderma include pain, depression, and distress about disfigurement, physical function, and social function. Pain, depression, and distress about disfigurement are common in scleroderma and are associated with reduced physical and social functioning. Cognitive-behavioral interventions for pain, depression, and distress about disfigurement, although not yet tested in scleroderma, may prove beneficial to patients with this disease.
