摘要
With the availability of historical pavement performance original data and pavement maintenance records in the pavement management system (PMS), it is of great importance to investigate the pavement performance and effectiveness evaluation of different maintenance treatments. Multiple linear regression analysis method was applied to analyze the influence of factors including traffic level, different asphalt mixtures on pavement roughness, rut, pavement damage, and pavement skidding resistance performance. Besides, many new evaluation indexes which differ from national standards in China were applied to evaluate pavement performance. In addition, based on the rutting, roughness, and side-way force coefficient, effectiveness of three different maintenance treatments (ECA overlay, hot in-place recycling, and microsurfacing) were analyzed. The results show that: ECA overlay treatment has good effect on highway asphalt pavement rutting condition with different traffic levels and different surface types; The effect of hot in-place recycling measure on road sections with poor initial skid resistance is relatively limited; micro-surfacing treatment is restricted in maintaining rutting and anti-sliding performance under heavy, very heavy traffic conditions of highway asphalt pavement, its long-term effect is not ideal too. Therefore, the appropriate maintenance treatments should be taken to achieve greater maintenance benefits.
