摘要：

A high-average-power beta-BaB2O4 (BBO) optical parametric oscillator pumped by the second harmonic of a Nd:YAG laser is demonstrated at the pulse repetition frequency of 0.5 kHz. Average power of 5.4 W (10.8 mJ per pulse) with an energy conversion efficiency of 45% is obtained for a type 1 13130 optical parametric oscillator. The output power can be increased, and undesirable thermal effects are not observed. (c) 2005 society of Photo-optical Instrumentation Engineers.
