摘要：
This paper constructs a conceptual framework for the role of manufacturing strategy concepts in global manufacturing. This is achieved by considering the literature related to both the content and process of manufacturing strategy and considering which competitive criteria, decision areas and process stages are particularly pertinent to global competitiveness. In addition, proposals are made for a tool to evaluate manufacturing strategy in this context. The paper thus investigates both formulation and evaluation of manufacturing strategy.
