摘要
Two grain boundary characterization methods, including and excluding twins were compared. They appeared to be equivalent in determining crack arrest probability within one grain size using a probabilistic approach. However, in determining the probability of crack arrest within a length, twins should be excluded. (C) 2003 Acta Materialia Inc. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
