摘要
Technology convergence across the fixed, mobile, broadcasting and PC industries has remained elusive largely because deregulation has driven industries and markets into silos. And whilst de-regulation has unlocked enormous competitive energy, it has led to huge inefficiencies between these silos and it is impossible for any single industry to unilaterally change anything. The debate taking place today on 5G largely sits inside the cellular industry silo. Should this be the case in a converging world?
