摘要
In this paper, we have reported design and analysis of polarization independent all optical logic gates in silicon-on-insulator photonic crystal consisting of two dimensional honeycomb lattices with two different air holes exhibiting photonic band gap for both TE and TM mode in the optical communication window. The proposed structures perform as an AND optical logic gate and all the optical logic gates based on the phenomenon of interference. The response period and bit rate for TE and TM polarizations at a wavelength of 1.55 tm show improved results as reported earlier. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
