摘要
Monitored storage data derived from detection and estimation of oil tank can be gathered to report statistics of demand and supply trend and these are tremendously important for economics and commodity trading. Several previous studies focusing on the tanks have been reported with SAR imagery but application with L-band requires completely different discussion. In this paper, we introduce an algorithm estimating floating roof height by use of ALOS-2 imagery and the proposed technique is discussed not only in StripMap mode but also in ScanSAR mode. Since an evaluation by use of ground measurement data is difficult, qualitative results are shown and discussed in this report.
