Thermal conductivity of RNi2B2C (R=Er, Tm, and Gd) systems

摘要
The temperature dependences of thermal conductivity have been measured for RNi2B2C (R=Er, Tm, and Gd) systems under various applied magnetic fields. The temperature dependences of thermal conductivity of RNi2B2C (R=Er and Tm) showed a change in slope at T-c. In zero magnetic field, the thermal conductivity of ErNi2B2C and GdNi2B2C showed small peaks at T-N, which disappeared under applied magnetic fields. At temperatures below T-c, the value of thermal conductivity in an applied magnetic field was larger than that in zero field.
