Sustainable development and improvement of competitiveness of international tourist industries in China

The paper, through analyzing trade value and increasing rate, points out that the competitiveness of Chinese international tourist industry is greater than that of any other service departments. Based on the analysis of the trade competition exponent (TC for short) and GRA (gray connection analysis theory) I the paper indicates that the service and trade structure of tourist industry tend to optimize. Dynamically, the competitiveness has recovered from the decline in fluctuation, and shows its tendency to improve gradually. To pursue further and faster improvement, the paper, by means of Sustainable Development Theory, puts for-ward some suggestions on how to promote the development of the tourist service and trade.
