摘要：

A simple octa-band monopole antenna for LTE/WWAN smart phone applications is proposed. Occupying a small size of 15x45x4 mm 3 in the top corner of the main system circuit board, the proposed antenna is formed by a rectangle-loop-loaded (RLL) meandered line, a vertical planar strip and a matching circuit. With the presences of the proposed structure configuration, two board operating bandwidths, including 17102690 and 698-960 MHz are achieved respectively. Good radiation characteristics of the proposed antenna are given to prove the reliability of the scheme, which is very promising for smart phone applications in the 4G LTE communication
