摘要
The present work investigates the application of high-frequency (HF) power supplies compared to conventional T/R-sets powering electrostatic precipitators (ESP) for biomass combustions. Measurements were taken for a lab scale ESP with controllable conditions as well as for an ESP after an industrial biomass power plant. Due to lower voltage ripple using the HF-power supply, higher ESP-voltages could be achieved which led to higher separation efficiency but also to higher energy consumption. The improvement of the total separation efficiency was due to higher fractional efficiency for particulates < 1.5 mu m, underlined with impactor measurements. Using high-frequency power supplies for ESPs after biomass combustions offers the possibility to improve separation efficiency but higher energy consumption has to be taken into consideration.
