摘要
A spectrofluorimetric method was developed for the determination of PAR in the authentic form or in its pharmaceutical dosage form. The method was based on the reaction of the drug with 1-dimethyl amino naphthalene-5-sulphonyl chloride (dansyl chloride) in an alkaline medium to form a highly yellow fluorescent derivative that was measured at 475 nm after excitation at 345 nm. The method was successfully applied to the authentic powder or Paracetamol (R) tablets and validated in terms of linearity, precision, trueness, limits of quantitation and limits of detection according to ICH guidelines.
