摘要
With the introduction of massive MIMO systems, the codebook used for the MIMO precoding is getting larger and choosing the best precoding matrix is getting more complex. In this paper, we tackle the complexity problem that manifests itself when updating the codebook with the channel covariance matrix. We suggest a new method that reduces the number of complex matrix multiplications needed for codebook rotation. Simulation results show non-marginal performance gains in-terms of channel capacity, bit error rate. In addition our method shows larger increase in data rate in case of increasing the number of feedback bits while having a complexity reduction.
