摘要
Investigating underlying coupling mechanism between surface plasmons (SPs) and excitons is playing a very important role to achieve higher efficient and more stable excitonic optoelectronic devices. Here, cadmium sulfide (CdS) microbelts sputtered with Au nanoparticles (NPs) have been prepared for exploring the SP-mediated energy coupling effect. The enhancement of excitonic emission intensity and a red-shift of the peaks have been surveyed in the Fabry-Perot (F-P) resonant lasing spectra. The investigation on temperature-dependent photoluminescence (TDPL) spectra from these samples demonstrate that the optical phenomenon can be attributed to the exciton-phonon coupling. The research results will provide a paramount importance of theoretical support for building effective and bright photoelectric devices based on the complex SP materials system.
