摘要
The purpose of this article was to verify, through the narratives written in pedagogical letters of educators and students, which representations in pedagogical practices and curricula on Afro - Brazilian and African Culture in school. The research was carried out with four educators and four students from the 4th Year of the Initial Years of Elementary Education from four different schools, located in the city of Campo Mourao-PR. The research was qualitative and the methodological tools used were pedagogical letters. As results, it is observed that the narratives that circulate the school everyday need to be dialogued. With this research, through the analyzes of the letters, it is verified that the work with Afro-Brazilian Culture is approached in a fragmented way. Therefore, the need to promote studies on the importance of black representation, which must be made visible by teachers, students and all school staff, in order to make it possible to recognize blackness.
