摘要
Mechanistic models of complex processes often contain a large number of unknown parameters that cannot all be estimated from the limited number of data typically available. In this work, we consider the case of a semi-batch emulsion polymerization process and use the eigenvalue method for local at-a-point identifiability analysis to determine which set of parameters can be estimated with different sets of sensors. The identifiability analysis also provides some insight into possible model reduction options.
