摘要
Attitude to risk in construction is mainly affected by two factors. The first is the awareness of the possibility of a catastrophic event to which all employees are exposed. The second is the extent to which individuals, both employees and employers, believe that they are capable of controlling the risks that they face. The management team will have an active role throughout the whole project. In this paper three different examples are presented and a discussion is engendered as to how enhanced fire safety attitudes and management culture can reduce the risk of fire on construction sites.
