Study of charge distribution in a dust beam using a Faraday cup

摘要
After getting charged in plasma, dust grains in a dust beam are scanned by a Faraday cup and electrometer. At different operating conditions, including a dc field, and analysis of the dust current profile, dust charge distribution is studied and information on the nature of the nonuniform distribution obtained.
