摘要
The present paper describes the analysis of (CLPHP) closed loop pulsating heat pipe using the Taguchi method. It's a statistical approach to optimise the parameters and improve the quality. CLPHPs have emerged as heat transfer devices as an alternative to conventional heat transfer technologies. An experimental work had been carried out on an 8-turn pulsating heat pipe using various working fluids like water, ethanol, methanol and acetone. The working parameters, such as fill ratio, heat input, angle of inclination, working fluid, etc., that affect the performance of CLPHPs on thermal resistance were studied. To study the performance parameters orthogonal array, analysis of variance and ANOVA were employed. By using the Taguchi L27 orthogonal array experiments were conducted by varying the input parameters. The optimisation results show that heat input is the most significant factor that influences the performance of CLPHP, followed by fill ratio and inclination angle.Among considered random test runs maximum of +/- 8% deviation is obtained from predicted values.
