A discussion of the anomaly of the parallel magnetic susceptibility above TN for Cr2O3

摘要
The growth of parallel magnetic susceptibility above T-N up to about 340 K is discussed due to the change of the crystal lattice parameters with temperature and the change of the exchange parameters connected with it. The discussion is based on the modified Oguchi theory [M. Baster, A. Kowalska, Z. Latacz, Z. Obuszko, J. Sciesinski, Acta Phys. Polonica A 74 (1988) 67]. The estimated value of the change of T-N with pressure is compared with the experimental values. Arguments for resolving the controversy concerning the problem of the sign of those values are presented. (c) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
