An Influencing Factor Study on the Innovation Performance of an Enterprise through an Interactive Innovation Perspective

The information has got greatly democratized in this information era. As scholars begin focusing on the innovation paradigm in such an era, this study tries to bring forward that interactions can positively influence the birth of innovation. Interaction Formality, Platform Prototype and Interaction Quality have been considered as three dimensions to depict an interaction. Furthermore, as projects are the research object, Project Customization together with Innovation Complexity has been added to the model as moderators. After empirical study based on data acquired from questionnaires, three conclusions have been made: 1) the Interaction Formality, the Platform Prototype and Interaction Quality have been proved to have positive effects towards Innovation Performance; 2) the Project Customization has been proved to have magnified such positive effect; 3) the Innovation Complexity has been proved to have magnified the effects that the Interaction Formality and the Interaction Quality have towards Innovation Performance, however, as for the Platform Prototype, its effect towards Innovation Performance become negative when Innovation Complexity upgrades.
