摘要
Smell gas with a PSi/IL array! Optical sensor arrays for mimicking the olfactory ability of animals were created by infiltration of an array of ionic liquids (ILs) into the nanochannels of a patterned porous silicon (PSi) rugate filter (see figure). Sensing and recognizing the volatile organic compounds was achieved by monitoring the peak shift of reflectance spectra on each sensing spot followed by principal component analysis.
