摘要：
Recent tragic events have created a new perspective on national security. They have shattered our false sense of invulnerability within our borders. This sudden shift in mindset is exacerbated by the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Concerns about the potential for nuclear and biological terrorism have risen dramatically. This paper documents the design and implementation of a wireless sensor network that will monitor and detect environmental contamination.
