摘要
This paper investigates utilization of graphics processing units (GPUs) for accelerating run-time critical phase of a well-known matrix-based technique in the field of computational electromagnetics viz. method of moments (MoM) using NVIDIA CUDA. More specifically, taking care of numerical accuracy without sacrificing the generality, parallelization and resulting speedup using CUDA-capable GPU, is investigated for the runtime critical phase of the MoM. Speedup of 30x and 4x are obtained for MoM-matrix setup and overall solution, respectively.
