摘要
Neptune's necklace: Fe3O4 colloidal nanocrystal clusters (ca. 200-nm in diameter) were organized into one-dimensional nanochains and coated with a highly cross-linked polymer in a facile one-pot synthesis (see picture). The nanochains have enhanced hydrogen T2 relaxation rates, facile magnetic manipulation, good water dispersivity, and excellent biocompatibility. © 2010 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
