Effect of shunt resistor on superconductor-insulator transition in superconducting single small Josephson junction

摘要：
We demonstrate that an externally attached shunt resistor significantly changes the transport property of a single small Josephson junction, between an insulator to a superconductor. The critical shunt resistance was about the quantum resistance R-q = h/4e(2). We determined the phase diagram experimentally. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
