摘要
This article provides an account of the development of an archive of oral history interviews of women's movement scholars and activists in four countries (China, India, Poland, and the United States). It outlines the motivation for documenting comparative histories of feminisms in these different contexts and the contents of the archive. The article then illustrates the archive's potential uses by scholars and educators, describing varied meanings of feminism and activism articulated by interviewees. It aims to encourage the pedagogical and research use of the archive, readily accessible on the Internet, by feminist scholars around the world. © 2011 by The University of Chicago.
