On Power Restriction and Anti-corruption

摘要：

Like a malignant tumor, corruption is now eroding the body of various government departments and bringing serious disasters to the state and society. The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC has made an overall assessment of the present situation in anti-corruption campaign: while the anti-corruption campaign has achieved obvious effect, problems have become increasingly prominent; while prevention and control have been strengthened, corruption remains prone to occur; and while the expectation of the masses from the anti-corruption drive has steadily increasing, complete control of corruption can hardly be realized in a short term. The anti-corruption struggle remains an arduous task and the overall situation remains grim. This paper will dwell upon the problem concerning power and corruption and put forward some proposals for effectively restricting power and combating corruption.
