摘要
Introduction Purpose of the work study is the analysis of the physical and functional parameters as well as the problems of adaptation to extrauterine life and early neonatal pathology in newborns conceived by assisted reproductive technologies (ART) from study group compared to naturally conceived newborns from control group. Material and methods For this study we took in consideration 137 patients divided in two groups: the study sample is formed with 71 NN resulted from (RUA) and the control group resulted from RN. The data was collected using the Microsoft Excel program. We presented some descriptive statistics analysis in order to get a better characterization of this important issue. For the significance of the statistical results we applied statistical tests using the SPSS program. Results and discussion For the major characteristics which are followed during a pregnancy based on the fact that we have two samples we applied a chi square test for proportions and we obtained statistical differences in all tested cases (p<0.05). Conclusions Results of the study highlight that after birth, the child's biological evolution is largely independent of his conception and more dependent on the fetal status in the perinatal period. By contrast, there is a stronger psychosocial and emotional support for newborns conceived by assisted reproductive technologies (ART).
