摘要
Achieving the objectives of the European Union Association Agreement regarding Chapter 14 - Energy from the Community Acquis, imposes finding renewable and low-polluting energy resources. An important resource of vegetal biomass - potential renewable and low-polluting energy resource - is REED. In Romania, reed covers significant areas in the Danube Delta region and, isolated, around lakes from the Danube Valley. This paper presents aspects regarding the reed resources in Romania, its chemical composition and its present fields of employment, as well as some recommendations concerning its potential use as an energy resource.
