摘要：
Paracamelus cf. aguirrei from Cobanpinar (Turkey) is described. Rodents from that locality suggest a Late Turolian or Latest Miocene age, indicating that this is one of the oldest records of the genus. Paracamelus dispersed from North America in a relatively short period during the Late Turolian (MN13) into the extensive open and dry environments from central Asia to North Africa, as well as into southern Spain.
