The results of a survey on the issues related to the professional registration of the engineering faculties in Tennessee are presented. Fifty five percent of the engineering deans who participated in the survey feels the issue related to the registration of the engineering faculties is an important one. Majority of the deans who participated in the survey were against the idea of registering all engineering faculty members. It is suggested that faculty involvement in registration and continued educational activities in professional development to maintain the registration, may benefit students.
