EDUCATING IN THE SOCIAL INTEREST OF THE SOCIAL SCIENCES: A DIDACTIC INTERVENTION

摘要
Baccalaureate students are at a key moment in the educational process, since they must opt for a type of study that will mark their academic and professional future. The present study analyses a didactic intervention carried out in this stage, whose main objective is to motivate students in choosing the modality of social science, showing its social interest. It is based on the verification that students value social sciences less than science in the pre-university stage. This finding is based on data such as the choice of modality in Baccalaureate and EBAU (more than 50% opts for science) or the selection of university degrees most demanded by students. This intervention, designed in three phases, has been applied to a sample of 121 students in 1st year of Baccalaureate. To analyze the results of the experiences, a qualitative methodology has been applied, with WebQDA analysis software. Of textual analysis. The results obtained indicate that the incidence of the intervention favours the modification of the vision that students have about the usefulness of the social sciences.
