摘要
Food sector is an important component of the national economy. Its development depends on changes in the environment, but also affects the economic situation. The aim of this study was to identify and assess the situation in the field of agricultural production and its adaptation to the changing institutional and economic conditions. This article presents the institutional conditions for the development of agriculture since the introduction of the market economy, the changes of the macroeconomic situation in Poland in the first decade of the twenty-first century, pointed to changes in the agrarian structure and agricultural production.
