Optimal data collection in clustered wireless sensor networks

摘要
In a clustered wireless sensor network, there are a large number of sensor nodes densely deployed in a certain area. They are used to observe the environment and make the decision whether an event has accrued. The cluster head then collects the decision information made by the sensor nodes in its cluster and fuses them into a final decision about the event. Noting that the channel state information between the cluster head and the sensor nodes will influence the received bit energy noise ratio of the cluster head, we propose an optimal data fusing algorithm based on the channel state information. On the basic of the fusing algorithm, we also analyze the tradeoff between the performance and the energy efficiency.
