摘要
Statistically, at present there are over 60 tertiary schools in China that run the programme of Safety Engineering. The rapid progress in social development has proved that the traditional mode for training Safety Engineering personnel can hardly meet the needs of urbanization, nor can it facilitate further progress of society. Based on the brief discussion of fundamental theories underlying Safety Engineering, this paper begins with a careful analysis of different modules of training modem professional personnel and then explores an effective approach with which to carry out education of Safety Engineering in a metropolis and through which to train the personnel badly needed in the light of progress in society as well as the general requirements by modem enterprises concerning general knowledge and technical know-how on the part of professional personnel. In addition, authors briefly describe their endeavour in pedagogical practice exploration through gearing it towards the requirements for personnel training in Safety Engineering. Our persevering efforts have already home desired results and exerted a desirable impact on the programme, which has been highly appraised by relevant departments/enterprises and people at large.
