摘要
The research carried out indicates that there exists a close relationship between rupture energy and the intensity of the stress applied at the moment of failure. This relationship is valid for both the uniaxial and the triaxial strength tests therefore confirming that during the failure process there is a simultaneous mobilization of the tensile and the shear strengths whereas the rupture energy is determined from the distortion energy.
