THE IMPORTANCE OF INTEGRATED INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN TIME OF COVID-19 CRISIS

Today, in a time when uncertainty rules, knowledge and use of information technologies have proven to be extremely important in business. IT and digital technologies have enabled companies to conduct business and to easily and quickly share information during a crisis. Furthermore, Integrated Information Systems (hereinafter IIS) played an important role in the radical and continuous change of business and production systems, both for, small and large-size companies. In this article, the data of IIS application in the wood industry will be analyzed and the AHP method for ranking IIS factors in today's changing conditions will be applied. IIS platforms provide a broad range of solutions covering many aspects of business organization, so this paper aims to elaborate on how IIS contributes to the implementation outcome.
