Photonic tunable microwave filters employing electroabsorption modulators and wideband chirped fibre gratings

摘要
A novel fibre-optic tunable microwave filter employing electroabsorption modulators and wideband chirped fibre gratings is proposed and demonstrated. It is shown that the tunability and bandwidth adjustment are readily achieved by varying the frequency of the modulator driving signal and the bias voltage, respectively.
