摘要
We propose a novel fiber optic sensor for inspecting cleaved optical fiber ends based on FabryPerot interferometer.The sensor uses mainly laser diodes, an optical power meter, 3-dB coupler, and XY lateral adjustment fiber stage. Experimentally obtained fiber end images were in good agreement with scanning electron microscope observation images. (C) 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
