摘要：

A new alpha-Keggin unit-supported transition metal complex [Co(2,2'-bipy)(3)](1.5)[SiW12O40Co(2,2'-bipy)(2)(H2O)].0.5H(2)O has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography, showing that [Co(2,2'-bipy)(2)(H2O)](2+) units are covalently bonded to the alpha-Keggin cluster [(SiWW11O50)-W-V-O-VI](5-). Intermolecular hydrogen bonding interactions and short O ... O contacts force the structure into an interesting one-dimensional suprarmolecular array. Crystals are monoclinic space group C2/c, with a = 46.676(9), b = 14.348(3), c = 26.010(5) Angstrom, beta = 90.33(3)degrees, V = 17419(6) Angstrom(3), Z = 8.
