摘要
Flower like cerium (Ce) doped SnS2 nanoparticle was synthesized with the effect of microwave irradiation. Physical nature of the nanoparticle was characterized using X-ray diffraction, photoluminescence, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy. The results reveal that the effective doping of Ce into SnS2 chalcogenide lattice by substitutional doping and flower like morphology with large pores helps to obtain a high surface area. Effect of doping concentration of Ce on SnS2 crystal reveals that the optimal activity was observed only for 5% doping for both degradation of organic pollutant and electrochemical non-enzymatic sensing of vitamin B with high selectivity and sensitivity with linear sensing range of 0.5 A mu M-1 mM. The fabricated sensor showed high sensitivity, stability and reproducibility.
