摘要
This manuscript proposes a low-profile and low-cost Dielectric Resonator Antenna (DRA) with high efficiency and full unlicensed bandwidth at the 60-GHz band for high data-rate 5G applications. The proposed antenna is based on a broadband rectangular dielectric resonator fed by a microstrip transmission line for integrated single layer MHMIC modules. The results confirm that the suggested antennas have broadband impedance bandwidth, reasonable flat gain and radiation efficiency greater than 90% across the operating frequency range.
