摘要
In this paper, we propose a multi-band internal monopole type antenna for mobile station. We design and implement the multiband internal monopole type antenna for cellular (824-894 MHz), GPS (Global Positioning System: 1575.42 MHz), K-PCS (Korea-Personal Communication Service: 1750-/870 MHz), and S-DMB (SatelliteDigital Multimedia Broadcasting: 2630-2655 MHz) frequency hands with three branch lines. The antenna size of example design is 42.5 mm X 7 mm X 6.5 mm. Ground size is 67 mm X 42 mm, and the proposed antenna is located at 3 mm away front the top portion of ground plane. The proposed antenna shows a monopole-like radiation pattern. Measured peak gains are -1.63 dBi at 0.859 GHz, 1.76 dBi at 1.575 GHZ, 3.89 dBi at 1.810 GHz, and 5.57 dBi at 2.642 GHz.
