Siemssenius sulcipennis Zhang and Yang, n. sp., from China is described and illustrations of the adult and the male aedeagus are provided. Pseudoliroetis trifasciata Jiang, 1992, is transferred to Siemssenius (n. comb.). A key to all known species of Siemssenius is included.
