摘要：

Based on the Science Citation Index-Expanded database (Thomson-ISI), this paper used keyword frequency analysis and co-keyword analysis to investigate R & D's field in mechanics. Through keyword frequency analysis to 168,689 international mechanical papers, the study has shown that the main R & D's fields are solids and fluids mechanics, including some hot issues: flows, stability, dynamics, deformation, stress, adhesion, fracture, viscosity, plasticity, elasticity, crack, heat transfer. Building co-keyword matrix of top 20 keywords, and mapping the relationship between top 20 keywords, it can safely infer that the R & D's field of fluids mechanics is bigger than that of solids mechanics, and fluids mechanics plays more important role.
