Some oscillation theorems are given for the nonlinear second order elliptic equation (i,j=1)Sigma(N) D-i[a(ij)(x)Psi(y)parallel to del(y)parallel to(p-2)D(j)y] + c(x)f(y) = 0. The results are extensions of modified Riccati techniques and include recent results of Usami.
